Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

* Support and promote a strong safety culture.
* Troubleshoot issues within the manufacturing facility, using root cause analysis tools, to identify the source and provide corrective solutions
* Collaborate within the team and across departments on projects from inception to completion.
* Design Tooling, Jigs, Fixtures, and Facilities Equipment utilizing SolidWorks.
* Identify and Facilitate Implementation of process improvements.
* Determine specifications and initiate the purchase of materials and components
* Develop Best Practices and Procedures; communicate these to employees through Visual Workplace, Formal Training, and Area meetings.
* Coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization (formal and informal presentations).

For This Role, You Will Need:

* Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in engineering or a closely related field
* Mechanical Aptitude
* Interest in manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

* Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field of study.
* Junior or Senior Class standing
* Hands-on manufacturing experience from a previous job or internship, or a project-based academic assignment
* CAD Experience, preferably SolidWorks
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
