The Medical Scribe will transcribe patient visit notes into the electronic medical record system. We limit decisions to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and supervisors manage work or establish practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

The Medical Scribe contributes to administration of care management by ensuring uncompromised patient care by transcribing fast and performing editing. The Medical Scribe works with Providers and transcription equipment including editing and correcting medical dictations performed by speech recognition software. Perform basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically, it works on routine and patterned assignments.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required
* · 1+ years of experience as a Medical Scribe/Transcriptionist, or similar, such as provider documentation/notes and medical charting
* · Transcribe and maintain a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
* · In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and jargon, and editing practice

Preferred:
* · Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems
* · EMR Experience preferred
* · Willingness to travel to nearby clinics to help when needed

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
