Purpose

We are currently recruiting for an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Intern / Co-Op Student. This 12-week summer program begins in May/June2026 and is based in Sarnia, ON.

Responsibilities

* The Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer Intern / Co-Op Student will have the opportunity to learn technical & personal development skills,
* Work on a variety of engineering projects within our divisions: chemical, energy, mining, minerals & metals.
* Each student will have the opportunity to complete a project, present learning during the experience to various stakeholders,
* Have an assigned mentor & supervisor.

What You Will Bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

* Currently enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a recognized Mechanical Engineer Degree program.
* An interest in engineering & a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work under timelines which require strong organization and time management skills.
* Good communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Engineering software & CAD skills an asset.

Required

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

* High School Diploma.

For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $50,886 to $74,241CAD.

Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
