Job Description

POSITION AND MISSIONS
You are joining the QIS Transverse team, which is looking for a Junior Frontend Developer intern, for an internship of 6 months from June 2026. You will actively participate in the design and development of a new graphical user interface (GUI) to visualize and interact with our index publishing platform.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
* Design the user experience (UX) and the user interface (UI) by participating in the definition of user needs for the visualization of the various components of the platform.
* Develop the Frontend :
* Create an intuitive and responsive user interface to visualize:
* The definition and characteristics of proprietary indices;
* The results of pricing calculations and reconciliation tests;
* The workflow for publishing indices;
* The scheduling of tasks.
* Integrate this new interface with our existing backend web services via RESTful APIs.
* Implement dashboards, charts and visual representations to facilitate the understanding of complex data.
* Perform tests by participating in writing unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and robustness of the frontend application.
* Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams to understand needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Technologies used:
* Frontend: Use Angular or React with TypeScript.
* Backend: Interact with our APIs developed in ASP.NET Core.
* Version management: Use Git (Bitbucket).
* Continuous integration: Use Jenkins.
* Data Visualization: Use Chart.js, D3.js or equivalent.
* Development environment: Use Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Rider or equivalent.
