YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

This internship will take place in Gif-Sur-Yvette, at our Research Center, starting from September 1st, 2026. Mathis, Water Microbiology & Processing Scientist in the Water Science & Technology team, will guide you through your day-to-day tasks and help you grow in your role:
* Advanced water microbiology research in industrial context.
* Evaluate real-time microbial monitoring technologies applied to water savings.
* Benchmark and comparison of analytical devices.
* Analyse, interpret and communicate scientific results.
* Laboratory experimentation and industrial implementation.
* Literature review.

THE BENEFITS OF THIS INTERNSHIP:
* Up to 2 days/week of remote work
* Full reimbursement of your public transportation pass or partial/full reimbursement of mileage expenses
* ""Vendredi je grandis"" program: development every Friday afternoon covering career, soft skills, and hard skills.
* Internship : Compensation from EUR1,300 (Bachelor's +4 and gap year) to EUR1,500 (Bachelor's +5) gross/month.

For this position, we are looking for someone:
* Available from September 2026 for a duration of 6 months
* At the level of Bac+4/5 in university, business school, or engineering school
* With fundamental knowledge in environmental microbiology, microbial ecology or biological engineering.
* With solid understanding of analytical methods (microbial culture, flow cytometry, DNA sequencing, qPCR…), data analysis and water processing.
* Organized, proactive, curious, autonomous, ability to work with different profiles.
* Enjoys being part of multidisciplinary, cross-category environments.
