Your Role
This role involves conducting user research, designing intuitive and accessible GUIs and dashboards, creating effective data visualizations, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure that the designs meet business goals and user needs.

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Experience research: You conduct research to understand the target audience (e.g., through user interviews), and define user personas to represent the typical users of the GUI and dashboards
* UX design: You design logical workflows for the GUI (e.g., how navigation between screens should flow) and create navigation systems (e.g., menus, tabs) that are easy to understand and align with user expectations in the most intuitive and accessible way for the user

* Take responsibility: You design low-fidelity wireframes of dashboard layouts and GUIs to explore design concepts and get feedback early
* Dashboard layout: You choose the most appropriate data visualization methods, such as bar graphs, pie charts, or heatmaps, to represent information effectively on dashboards, while ensuring that visualizations are accurate and unambiguous, helping users make decisions quickly and easily
* Teamwork is dreamwork: You work together with developers to ensure the designs are feasible and collaborate with managers to ensure that dashboards meet business goals and provide actionable insights. You also present design ideas to stakeholders or team members, explaining the rationale behind UX decisions.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Study field: You are currently studying design, psychology or similar
* Skills: You have knowledge of prototyping tool (e.g. Figma) (it's aplus)
* Knowledge: You have knowledge of UX design (mandatory) and of best practices (e.g. Tableau design guidelines, Excel Principles) (it's a plus)
* Experience: You have experience in user research and design of user experience
* Way of working: You feel comfortable working on tasks independently and within a team, and are eager to take responsibility
* Language skills: You have good English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus Please attach the following documents to your application:

* High school report Important information:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
