We are looking for a Digital Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the Mechanical CAD platform team within Digital Engineering. This internship is a strong fit for a student who is proactive, curious, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced engineering applications environment. The role combines user support, community and communication activities, and data analytics, with a strong focus on creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards and helping improve user experience across the platform. What Will you do? Support the team in L2 support activities for MCAD users, including follow-up of common requests, issue tracking, documentation, and coordination with senior team members. Help maintain and improve user communication and community management activities for MCAD-related communities. Support onboarding and engagement activities such as user updates, learning/community assignments, and communication follow-ups. Collect, clean, analyze, and organize data from different sources to support operational reporting. Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports with meaningful insights for platform operations, adoption, and support trends. Help document recurring issues, user guides, FAQs, and process updates. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, visibility, and routine tasks through better structure and automation. Collaborate with the team on additional platform coordination and continuous improvement activities. *Graduation Date: June 2027 or later. *Location: MDIC (Apodaca): (PIIT) Apodaca 408 Ave Innovación Parque de Innovación e Investigación Tecnológico, Apodaca, 66628, Mexico. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Student in Mechatronics Engineering preferred; other Engineering degrees are also welcome. Strong interest in engineering applications, support, analytics, and communication. Good analytical skills and comfort working with data in Excel and reporting tools. Interest or basic experience in Tableau, dashboards, or data visualization. Strong communication skills in English. Proactive, self-driven, organized, and willing to learn. Growth mindset, accountability, and ability to work with guidance while taking ownership of assigned tasks. Knowledge of MCAD tools such as Creo or AutoCAD is a plus, but not mandatory Availability to work in a hybrid model (on-site Wednesdays and Thursdays), an ideal schedule of 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with flexibility for students.
