Key responsibilities in your new role

Infineon's Summer Practice Program is the perfect platform for passionate, third-year students like you who are ready to explore the world of Behavioral Modeling: an increasingly popular skill, open to innovation, and applicable to a wide range of electronic fields. Simulation models (virtual replicas of an integrated circuit) can be used for solutions such as fast verification of the chip, finding bugs in the schematic, better understanding of the analog/digital functioning, or testing a target application.

* Analog & Digital Modeling: Develop simulation models for analog/digital blocks used in sensors such as magnetic, pressure, among others, and develop architectural concepts at a system level
* Mentoring:
You will get trained and mentored in the Behavioral Modeling process of the analog/digital blocks, with a specific focus on Real-Number discrete modeling required for the digital simulations
* Verification: You will learn how to verify the models to validate the behavior and specifications
* Data Analysis: Create scripts to analyze and interpret simulation data

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You are research-oriented and enjoy deep-diving into technical topics. With a structured and autonomous working style, you show good analytical skills that support you in solving problems, while contributing to a good team atmosphere and cooperating across boundaries.

* Education: Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of studies in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a similar field
* Background: Have fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuits; Have fundamental knowledge of system and signal processing
* Skills: Have basic knowledge of at least one programming language or knowledge of engineering simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE); You can explain a technical topic to a non-technical person
* Personality: You have a proactive, creative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow as part of a professional engineering team
* Working style: Have a structured and analytical working attitude
* Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
