About this position

What you´ll do

* Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts using historical sales data and market trends
* Support analysis of demand variability for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
* Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams to align forecasts
* Monitor forecast accuracy (KPIs) and identify improvement opportunities
* Analyze customer orders, seasonality, and product life cycles
* Help maintain data in planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, IBP, Excel models)
* Prepare reports and dashboards for management

What makes you a good fit

* Ability to do a 12 month internship (8/6h day), availability in Spain, Barcelona
* Currently pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related field
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas; VBA is a plus)
* Interest in automotive industry and chemical products
* Basic understanding of Supply chain concepts (forecasting, inventory, planning)
* Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
* Experience with ERP tools (e.g., SAP), Power BI, Tableau is a plus
