Based: Barcelona, Spain / Working on-location, Part-time (25 hours per week) / 6 months (1st of June 2026 to 30th of November 2026) in collaboration with the DeepWork Program of the Fundación Universidad-Empresa

You will be mentored by experts and work directly with teams to create direct business impact and gain invaluable professional experience. In Spain, this internship will also be coordinated in collaboration with the DeepWork Program of the Fundación Universidad-Empresa, providing additional learning resources, training opportunities, and academic coordination throughout the internship experience.

What you'll be doing as part of the Global Audience Engagement team in Spain

Team and context:

The Global Audience Engagement team supports the planning and execution of physical, virtual, and hybrid events across multiple regions and business areas. The team works closely with marketing, communications, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver engaging customer experiences and impactful global events aligned with Siemens Software business objectives.

Project description:

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global events marketing environment. You will support operational coordination, communications, logistics, and event planning activities across a broad portfolio of international events.
You will work closely with the Director of Global Audience Engagement, Event Strategists, Digital Strategists, and event business owners to support successful event execution and contribute to ongoing process improvements and collaboration initiatives within the team.

What we're looking for

We're seeking students in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, International Business, or similar fields. If you are interested in global events, marketing operations, customer engagement, and supporting impactful international initiatives, we want to hear from you!
* Strong interest in event marketing, operations, logistics, and customer engagement
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Additional European languages are a plus
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work collaboratively within international and cross-functional teams
* Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, strong team spirit, and willingness to contribute to common objectives
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Interest in digital event platforms and hybrid event technologies is considered a plus

SSP Spain 2026, conditions & eligibility

Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP) in Spain will run from 1st of June 2026 to 30th of November 2026 (6 months). Depending on the university programs and the number of internship hours per academic cycle, renewals can be considered. Interns may also write their bachelor's or master's thesis in cooperation with Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW). Internships at SIEMENS DISW are paid and interns receive an internship contribution.

Eligibility

Interns must be enrolled in a university in Spain and have at least 600 hours available from their university programs for internships.
Applicants must be enrolled at a Spanish university for the entire duration of the program, including both Spanish and international students.
Curricular and extracurricular internships are accepted; the university program must cover the full six-month length of the internship.
International students must have the proper visa and/or work permit to participate, as Siemens will not cover or facilitate visa or permit processes.
