Compensation Overview

The hourly salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual hourly rate for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
As an InVEST Program Intern, you will play an integral role in the Boat & Yacht organization of Travelers' Personal Insurance.
* Maintain and re-lettered increased authority agents
* Manage the binder drawer
* Run Loss Details and Line of Business reports
* Send out marine survey letter requests
* Plan the Job Shadow Events
* Prep yacht applications
* Organized and inventoried the marketing items
* Organize our Fort Lauderdale Dinner
* Create new business files
* Send out binder confirmation letters
* Input quotes
* Put together marketing kits
* Travelers is a business leader in providing products and services to a variety of clients. Consistently meeting customer needs gives us the edge in the insurance and financial industry. To maintain that edge, we prefer candidates with the following qualifications:
* Involvement in extracurricular activities is preferred
* Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Access is a plus
* Legally eligible to work in the United States on a permanent full-time basis
* Taking an InVEST course or Academy of Finance
* Demonstrate leadership skills
* Ideal candidates will have the ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably, and exhibit the ability to drill down on information and draw conclusions
