Job Description:
Role overview

The role of a finance intern is to support the organization while learning about a career in finance. Regular duties and responsibilities for finance interns include generating and analysing reports, taking notes during meetings, preparing statements, entering data, and assisting with audits.

Key responsibilities:

Invoice Processing
* Assist in receiving and capturing supplier invoices accurately.
* Ensure invoices have correct campaign numbers and process using correct insertion lines

Supplier Reconciliation
* Help with reconciling supplier statements to internal records.
* Identify discrepancies and flag missing invoices or credit notes

Adding new vendors

Add new vendors to Navision, work with AP team to ensure all documentation is correct and added to vendor cards.

Query resolution
* Respond to supplier emails or calls under supervision.
* Assist in resolving invoice disputes, missing PO issues, and incorrect charges.
* Log and track all supplier queries for follow-up.

KPIs
* Work with the AP team to assist on all media, production, OOH vendors.
* Gain the necessary knowledge to work unsupervised
* Assist with creating expense purchase orders
* Assist with any adhoc finance queries when required.
* Work with the digital invoices to ensure invoices are saved down accurately and within time deadline as indicated.

Requirements
* Completed Matric/Grade 12
* Completed a BCom Degree related to Finance
* Be a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)
* Must be currently unemployed
