Course: 8 weeks, 15 hours/week, homestay, April 2014
Overall
The college is mainly Arab students, and most of the time it felt like I was there to learn Arabic not English. Staff are unhelpful and rude. The classrooms are old and dirty and the teachers always had problems getting the internet and WIFI to work for lessons. I was booked for several months study and every week there were new students in the classes so there was never any consistency in the lessons. The food in the canteen is really bad and so expensive too - you are better going into the town to buy something.

Course: 4 weeks, 20 hours/week, homestay, July 2014
Overall
They try to put as many students as they can into one classroom. The teachers were changed every week and one time they changed them two times a week. I was put in a class that was below my first day test level. When I asked why, I was told that there was no room in the higher level class (my level) so I spent three weeks studying in a class that was too easy for me. The teachers could never get the  WIFI to work for classroom teaching smart technology.

Pros
My host family was nice.
Cons
They need to put students in the classes for their levels, not put them in a lower class to their entry test because there is "no room". This is waste of my parents money and wasting of my time. Managers and owners always said they were too busy or sent me to see someone else.
