Trainee - Strategic Sourcing & Operative Purchase

Role and Responsibilities:

* Maintain purchasing records and pricing information updated in the system.
* Prepare reports and track the sales demand fluctuation and inventory value.
* Help buyer with day-to-day purchasing tasks.
* Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
* Handling and monitoring claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
* Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of project / product.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
* Responsible for the preparation and process of purchasing orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items by suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
* Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

Qualification and Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar).
* Verbal communication in Marathi / English/ Hindi.
Experience:
Candidate must complete BE/B.Tech or Graduation in equivalent or similar stream - Mechanical/electrical.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

* Must have knowledge about manufacturing operations.
* India taxation overview (GST, export benefits etc.)
* Must have knowledge about MS office (Excel, Word, Power point etc.)
* Knowledge about BAAN software will be preferred.
* Awareness of ISO and Industrial Norms.
