China Compliance Engineer
Haps - Fulltime

For our state-of-the-art factory at Haps we are looking for a China Compliance Engineer.
The China Compliance Engineer will support Danone's access to the China market by ensuring compliance with the most recent China requirements for IMF and FSMP.  

You will work closely with Quality, Operations, Technology, Regulatory Affairs and the teams in China to prepare registrations, support audits and drive continuous compliance improvements. 
This is a unique opportunity to become an expert in China regulatory compliance while working at one of Danone's strategic specialized nutrition manufacturing sites. 
 

Drive for Audit Readiness 

* Support preparation for China audits and inspections. 

* Coordinate audit evidence, documentation and site readiness activities. 

* Follow up corrective actions and ensure timely closure. 

Support China Registrations 

* Prepare and maintain registration dossiers and supporting documentation. 

* Ensure registration documents are accurate, consistent, complete and audit-ready 

 Drive Compliance Excellence 

* Support gap assessments and implementation of improvement actions. 

* Help maintain a strong culture of compliance across the factory. 

Be a Key Business Partner 

* Collaborate with factory teams and China stakeholders. 

* Translate regulatory requirements into practical actions. 

* Support projects impacting China market access and regulatory compliance. 

* Bachelor's or master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality, Life Sciences or related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in Quality, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Manufacturing.  
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
* Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a factory environment.
* Fluent in Chinese & English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
* Experience with audits, quality systems, GMP/HACCP or regulatory compliance is preferred. 
* Knowledge of China regulations, SAMR, IMF or FSMP requirements is a plus. 
* Familiar with quality management systems, regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO standards or GB standards) is a plus.
* Willing to step out of the comfort zone, to absorb into the production environment and be hands-on is key.  Having factory experiences is a plus. " descriptionHeader="
