Who We're Looking For
At PromoteIQ, engineers on our Platform team build tooling to enable our internal teams to empower our customers. We are looking for a full stack engineer with a demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining production services, innovative thinking, and technical excellence. This role will be a mixture of technical design, individual contribution, and thorough testing.

* Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code
* Participate in discussions about project architecture and technical feasibility, make decisions and justify your development approach
* Work closely with the scrum master and product owner to help address business needs while maintaining engineering standards and paying down technical debt
* Experiment with and recommend new technologies that simplify or improve PromoteIQ's stack

Ihr Profil:

* Previous experience as a professional software developer.
* Experience using either Javascript / Typescript or Python, with excellent and creative problem-solving abilities. We will consider extensive experience with other languages as well, e.g., Java, Rust, Go, etc.
* Experience building fullstack applications
* Excellent Computer Science fundamentals with regards to data structures, algorithms, time complexity, etc.

Preferred:
* Experience developing and debugging in a Linux environment.
* Experience practicing advanced optimization techniques.
* Experience providing mentorship and guidance, including code reviews, training, and feedback. 
* Strong fundamental understanding of generalized architecture patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
