Valeo's VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Valeo Light is the world leader in automotive lighting. From the latest interior and exterior lighting innovations to cutting-edge wiping technologies, the Light division offers innovative visibility systems with a distinctive style, improving safety and driving comfort.

The site of Meslin L'Evêque based in Belgium belongs to Light Division. We are looking for a VIE Quality Engineer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?
* You ensure 100% conformity of all components delivered to the production site.

* You contact suppliers immediately when a non-conformity is detected and make sure containment actions are implemented within 24 hours.

* You verify that corrective actions are effective by checking that the issue does not happen again.

* You guarantee yearly validation of purchased components, including capability evidence and initial sample approval.

* You initiate, analyze, report, and follow up on supplier incidents until full problem-solving closure.

* You monitor supplier responsiveness and make sure problem-solving steps are completed within the required deadlines.

* You communicate daily with suppliers and internal production teams to ensure transparency and quick resolution of issues.

* You manage key performance indicators at site level, including yearly conformity, supplier reactivity, and chargeback follow-up.

Let's talk about you…
* You are graduated from an Engineering degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
* You already have experience in quality management, supplier quality or industrial environments.
* You have a fluent level of English (French is a plus).
* You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking.
* You are humble, a good listener, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have a strong sense of diplomacy.
* Knowledge of quality standards and problem-solving methodologies is a plus.
