Job Description:

The position of Operations Controller is part of the Finance department overseeing Helium activities. It covers activities such as reporting/business analysis, consolidation, accounting, internal control, treasury and corporate finance matters, working closely with teams within and outside UAE.
The key missions of this role are to:
Reporting & Target/Forecast
Support the monthly closure process to ensure correct P&L (esp. Helium sales & sourcing, accruals, internal backcharges) including cost & profit center split and KPIs
Participate in the financial Flash comments incl. variance analysis (Single Month and YTD vs. Last year and last forecast) as well as the required Local, Cluster and Group reportings.
Prepare bottom-up target budget and forecasts, coordinate with respective Managers and ensure consistent & realistic figures
Business Analysis
Analyze business performance, present findings and recommendation to Managers (impact of business changes, sales, costs, efficiencies)
Help to implement and to follow dashboards for efficiencies, investments, leveraging on Power BI tool
Assist in preparation of Management reviews (KPI table, Zoom subjects)
Follow up customers' payments and overdues.
Support the annual external audit. Provide supportive documents or analysis.
Support business operations
Serve as the "go to" person for the affiliate operational Financial questions (incl. ERP related)
Review purchase orders against budget and Financial dimensions to ensure proper business analysis
Ensure correct tracking and invoicing of Helium Sales (quantities and price) through mass balance reconciliation (with customers, GPS container readings) together with the Supply Chain team
Ensure operational controls & operations are in compliance with company policies and best practices (invoice checking, PtP, stock quantity measurement)
Assist team members with new vendor set ups and purchase orders processing
Assist in proper booking and accounting
Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge on know-how specific to the Job
Knowledge in Operations Control; basic knowledge in accounting principles
Microsoft suite, Google suite. Practical usage of ERP would be a plus.
Ability to understand links between business decisions and financial results
