We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technological company, we design innovative products and systems that contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions and to development of automated driving. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.

We are looking for a part-time student for the position of Technical Trainee in our R&D Center in Prague. As a trainee you will be linked to our team of system engineers in the Front Camera Department.

YOUR CHALLENGES?
* Providing support to the team
* Team spirit and cooperation with other team members
* Working with databases for AI training and further processing from different environmental sensors (laser, camera, IMU)
* Feature extraction automation with focus on data from environmental sensors for statistical purposes. Interconnection with external services like weather, maps providers
* Work on single purpose devices for validation & monitoring purposes mainly for use inside vehicles i.e RPi, Arduino or similar for e.g. temperature monitoring, remote control

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...
* Bachelor degree in the field of Technical Engineering (Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Cybernetics, Robotics, Computer Science)
* Experience with Python, C/ C++ or similar
* Experience with Arduino or Raspberry PI is an advantage
* Experience with GIT or similar
* Feeling for design like GUI user-friendliness is advantage
* Active hands-on approach, contact with real HW
* Result oriented thinking
* Good level of English to communicate within international teams
