Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Cost and Pricing!

In this role you will have to analyse pricing trends, construct cost and review and reconcile billing files, ensuring accuracy in manual and automated charter invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

* Pricing Analysis: Analyse pricing trends, construct cost and analysis
* Billing Oversight: Review and reconcile billing files, ensuring accuracy in manual and automated charter invoicing processes.
* Data Management: Develop and maintain operational documents to track pricing performance, deviations, and opportunities.
* Reporting: Generate reports to monitor pricing tendencies, control deviations, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Process Improvement: Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean projects, to enhance pricing efficiency and accuracy.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to data privacy and compliance standards in all pricing-related activities.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
* Training: Create and optimize training materials and scenarios for new hires in coordination with subject matter experts (SMEs).
* Ad-hoc Tasks: Support additional projects or tasks as required by business needs.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

* Studies in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
* 80% proficiency in both spoken and written English
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Results-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail
* Schedule Flexibility for Month End Closes is a must

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

* Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or pricing software
* Creative problem-solving to meet customer and business needs
* Ability to multitask with excellent follow-through
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration via email and calls
* Strategic thinking with expertise in financial analysis or accounting
* Risk management and business acumen
* Teamwork, customer-centricity, and accountability
* Experience with tools ARIS, CRASE or workflow automation
* Knowledge of financial modelling or statistical analysis.
