Location Overview
Join our team in Amanjena. Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin, bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private pools. Views stretch across the olive groves and palms of the oasis, extending to the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

The Position
The 18-month Management Development Program 'Ignite' program is designed to cultivate the future leaders of Aman Group. The highly customized, fast-track program blends work experience and leadership development opportunities to prepare trainees for an Assistant Manager position at the end of the program.
The program journey begins with a 1-month period of immersion across all areas such as operations, finance, HR, and sales. The Management Trainee will gain an insight into the various aspects of the business, gaining an overview of what it takes to effectively manage an ultra-luxury property. They will then focus on either the Rooms or Food & Beverage specialization, progressively assuming increased responsibilities, refining their expertise and accelerating their growth. They will have the opportunity to take the lead on exciting projects and fine tune their business acumen.
The Management Trainee is responsible for learning the roles and responsibilities of operational departments while sharpening their newly gained management skills to set the foundation for a successful career within Aman Group.

Main Responsibilities
* Gain knowledge in all operational departments through a scheduled rotation to fully understand the roles and functions of each area
* Increase supervisory and managerial skill ability by attending on-site leadership training sessions and receiving guidance from the assigned mentor and supporters throughout the duration of the program
* Be highly and critically aware of the working environment for both guests and employees with the goal of finding opportunities for continuous improvement and voicing feedback to hotel leadership and managers
* Ensure that business partners and guests are surprised and delighted by their on-property experience, in the best traditions of the Aman culture
* Complete a long-term project with the goal of elevating the guest experience. To achieve this project, the following points will be considered:
* Clear communication and collaboration with department leaders
* Proactiveness to voice ideas and feedback with confidence
* Ability to be self-responsible for tracking and keeping deadlines during the project
* Demonstrate ability to speak with influence during business presentations to senior leadership to gain understanding and buy-in
* Adapt to changes in the business plan and be flexible according to the situation to continue to reach the desired result
* Able to receive continuous feedback, both positive and productive, from mentors, leaders and direct supervisors and respond in a professional manner
* Be highly conscious of their manner, professionalism and self-appearance in alignment with Aman brand expectations and standards
* Participate in special projects and tasks which lie outside of the original learning objective including pre-opening support and other initiatives as designated by the program lead
* Complete assigned eCornell and Learning Hub courses
* Assist the property senior leadership team with administrative tasks and additional responsibilities which may be assigned on an ad hoc basic

Required Qualifications
* Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality or related field, attained in the last 2 years
* Possess 1-year work or internship experience in hospitality, luxury preferred
* Verbal and written proficiency in English. Additional languages are a plus
* Advanced computer knowledge, including MS360 suite
* A genuine passion for luxury and a commitment to delivering excellence
* Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
* Curious, agile, and eager to learn about all aspects of the hospitality industry
* Operationally focused, with a desire to assume responsibility and pursue an international career
* Bring a positive outlook on challenging situations and have a sense of fun
