We are AstraZeneca - a global, scienceled, patientfocused biopharmaceutical company shaping the future of medicine. With a strong purpose and a deeply connected culture, we empower our people to push boundaries and turn bold ideas into life-changing solutions. Are you ready to be part of something bigger?

Our flagship CompAZ Program in Warsaw is back! We are looking for early-career innovators ready to dive deep into biomarker-driven drug development.

If you're passionate about biomarkers and drug discovery, this is the flagship development program you've been waiting for. Join the 2026 cohort and start your journey with AstraZeneca.

What is CompAZ?

CompAZ is a 5-month development journey combining science, digital innovation, business skills, and hands-on project experience.
The program brings together 20 participants - 10 AstraZeneca talents and 10 students from Warsaw based universities - to learn, collaborate and contribute to the future of precision drug development.

You will be surrounded by a collaborative, inclusive community where curiosity is welcome, questions are encouraged, and learning becomes a shared experience.
Participants often describe CompAZ as "more than a program - a meaningful journey that leaves a real imprint."

You will engage in expert-led lectures, workshops, and real-world project work across key areas such as:

🔬 Scientific & Medical Foundations

Master the core of oncology. You'll dive deep into tumor molecular biology and learn how biomarker diagnostics drive modern medicine.

💻 The Digital Edge

Bridge the gap between biology and technology. We provide hands-on Python and Power BI workshops, teaching you to apply AI in drug discovery. You'll even step into the future by building your own AI agents.

🧭 Strategic Business Operations

Get under the hood of late-stage oncology project management and master the R&D finance and alliance management skills needed to bring a drug to market.

🎤 Communication & Soft Skills

Great science needs a great voice. Sharpen your scientific communication and presentation skills through collaborative group projects and expert consultations.
