Job Description:

Position: Engineering Lab Technician Co-op/Intern
Number of Position(s): 1
Duration: 4 months +
Date: Sept - Dec 2026
Location: Onsite, Ottawa

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Technician program, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

As part of our team, you will:
* Work with new products and technologies.
* Troubleshoot and debug node configurations.
* The software installs, system configurations restore and backing up databases.
* Troubleshoot and upgrade cards.
* Installation and configuration of new equipment into existing networks

Candidate Requirements:

You have:
* Enrollment in a Computer networking-related program.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with others.
* The candidate must be able to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of IP networking, familiar with networking concepts.
* Familiar or proficient with UNIX and LINUX.
* Scripting languages (i.e., PERL)
