Position: Optical Test Coop/Intern

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a master's, or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

As a part of our team, you will:
* Perform characterization testing and analysis of optical PON modules.
* Assist optical designers and development engineers with the testing of pluggable optical modules and analysis of test results.
* Duties will include the operation of optical test equipment, automation of test setups, and post-processing and analysis of test results

Candidate Requirements:

You have:
* Desired experience using electronic and optical test equipment: BERT, OSA, DCA, Network Analyzer, high-speed scope, etc.
* Familiar with programmatic design principles and experience programming in MATLAB, Python, and/or C.
* Good verbal and written communication skills

It would be nice if you also had:
* Optical courses during the education program
