Job Description:
The Legal team acts as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring operational compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting corporate governance. We manage complex legal workflows, contract lifecycles, and regulatory inquiries to help the company navigate legal landscapes with efficiency and precision. We are looking for a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our team to support these functions through research, documentation, and operational support.
Able to come on board quickly and work 3-4 days a week.
What You'll Do
Legal Research: Conduct research on statutes, regulations, and case law regarding employment, commercial contracts, and compliance. Contract Lifecycle Management: Maintain and organize legal files and assist with the administration of contract systematic filing. Chop Management: Manage the daily custody, registration, and use-process review of company stamps, including the official company stamp, contract stamp, finance stamp and the legal representative's name chop. Ensure all stamping activities adhere to internal control and compliance requirements, maintain accurate stamping logs, and manage systematic filing. Corporate Certificate Management: Assist in the maintenance, filing, and custody of corporate legal documents, including business licenses and industry-specific permits. Document Assistance: Assist in the drafting, editing, and proofreading of legal documents, for instance standard contracts or NDAs. Other tasks assigned by the senior counsel.
Required Experience/Skills
* Exceptional integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
* Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Available for 3-4 days a week working on-site.
* Enrollment in law school is preferred, and experience in a paralegal role is a plus.
