About the Role
University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Internship Period: 8 June 2026 to 14 August 2026
The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.
What you will learn and contribute:
Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Risk and Compliance,
In Group Compliance team, you may be involved in providing support in the various specialist areas on Culture and Conduct, Data Privacy, Financial Crimes Compliance, Investment Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Training and Reporting, including the following responsibilities:
* Support the day-to-day and ad-hoc activities assigned by the Compliance Subject Matter experts, as required.
* Conduct research on Compliance related subjects of life insurance.
* Assist in the development of Group policies and standards, including policy review and consolidation.
* Assist in the development of data analytics tools and templates for monitoring compliance assurance matrix.
* Produce and enhance presentations, reports, dashboards and templates for reporting at senior management level.
* Provide support in business unit's quality assurance exercise and compliance certifications from BUs.
* Assist in control automation progress tracking.
In Group Technology Risk team, you may be involved in:
* Support the Technology Risk Management team in Group Office in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology-related risks across AIA Group. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in risk management frameworks, industry best practices, and governance processes.
* Support the development, customization, and maintenance of business applications and solutions using PowerApps, PowerBI, Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence) and SharePoint. The intern will work closely with the team to design, develop new solutions and maintain existing solutions.
In Group Financial Risk Management team, you may be involved in:
* Review risk standards and recommend enhancement where appropriate.
* Conduct research and credit analysis to support rating validation process.
* Improve risk monitoring workflows for equity, liquidity and repo transactions through data analytics.
* Support ad-hoc assignments as required.
What you will need:
* Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study
* Excellent teammate and curious learner
* Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment
* Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
* Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
