Responsibilities
Contribute to the team's objectives by assisting Team Head / Directors / VP / Associates / Analysts on the following tasks:
Primary transactions:
Assist Origination at pitching / marketing stage including through preparation of materials for client-facing activities;
Assist Origination through risk assessment, research and contribution to structuring of transactions, as directed by Head of Department. Such task will include the production of market research, comparable tables;
Preparation of syndication strategy materials;
Contribute to the execution of syndications, specifically, preparation of Information Memorandums, Roadshows, book-running, Q&A, status reports, etc.;
Work hand-in-hand with private and public credit sales at market sounding stage if any and to implement the syndication strategy during the execution phase.
Secondary transactions:
Assist credit sales in secondary / portfolio sales execution including KYC tasks;
Assist credit sales by providing (as and when required) input into CPM's secondary or portfolio distribution efforts;
Feed reverse enquiries that may be channelled through the job holder, to the relevant credit sales as well as CPM.
Market and investor base:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and reporting on local syndication trends, investor universe and appetite, and prepare quarterly market updates distributable internally and externally to investors / borrowers.
Internal:
Perform administration and reporting tasks as may be requested by Head of Department - this includes maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline reporting file, permanent supervision files, redaction of closing memos.

Technical:
* Ability to gather understanding of the Syndicated Loan Markets and knowledge of Capital Markets
* Ability to grow experience in credit analysis, legal documentation
* Responsibility - ability to understand and manage risks (conduct, reputational, financial, etc.) for SYN, GLBA, and SG Group, and act responsibly in line with SG Group Values, Code of Conduct, and other applicable rules & regulations

Department Description
Distribution and Credit Solutions (DCS) is GLBA's central organ for underwriting and distributing credit products, using all available tools in SG's distribution toolbox, from plain vanilla sales to structured credit engineering solutions. Within DCS APAC, the Structured Credit Syndicate APAC will be more specifically responsible for:
Pricing, structuring and underwriting illiquid credit products, originated in APAC but also from other regions whenever there may be an APAC-related distribution angle. The team will work hand-in-hand with the Origination business lines throughout the origination process on those aspects, including in client-facing activities (incl. pitching / marketing).Working hand-in-hand with the APAC credit sales team, including in an investor-facing capability and through ongoing training of the APAC credit sales team, to initiate and push illiquid / liquid credit products sales to investors
