In particular, the e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. With millions of loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity for aspiring designers to work directly on campaigns for TikTok Shop and Tokopedia, two of the leading e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. Interns will be involved in creating in-app creative assets used by millions of users nationwide, providing real exposure to how large-scale digital platforms operate. Through this role, interns will experience how design theories learned in the classroom are applied in real commercial environments-where creativity must align with branding, performance metrics, and user behaviour. The internship emphasises practical learning in balancing aesthetics, usability, and business objectives. By collaborating closely with internal creative teams, agencies, and marketing stakeholders, interns will gain experience in campaign execution, A/B testing, brand governance, and scalable design systems. This role is ideal for candidates seeking strong portfolio development, structured mentorship, and professional exposure within top-tier e-commerce brands. Responsibilities - Designing creative for in app communication - Designing creative for out of app advertising purposes (including but not limited to OOH, Online Marketing, TV, etc) - Together with Creative Team member, manage the project & stakeholder relationships in each project

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or related fields preferably in communication, design, graphic design or related majors - Have experience in designing for in app materials - Have experience in designing for out of app materials (can be for OM, OOH, TV, etc) - Able to work from office for easier coordination (WFH can be considered and with prior alignment and approval from manager) - Able to work in a fast-paced environments - Self starter and proactive Preferred Qualifications - Experience or high interest in designing for digital platforms, apps, or e-commerce environments - Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and performance-driven design - Working knowledge of Figma and other creative designing suites (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) - Portfolio showcasing digital, UI, or campaign-related work (would be a plus) - Prior internship, freelance, or campus project experience in design (would be a plus) If you have any questions, please reach out to us at apac-earlycareers@tiktok.com
