YOUR ROLE We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Data Science Intern to support our data-driven initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of data-driven models and algorithms. The intern will work closely with our data science team to analyze complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and contribute to improving our products and services. This hands-on experience will provide valuable exposure to real-world data science projects, helping the intern develop skills and knowledge in the field while making a meaningful impact on our organization. The internship duration is a minimum of 6 months. Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Close collaboration with the manufacturing data science team to support development of manufacturing tools, as well as pre-process, analyze, and visualize complex datasets to generate actionable insights. Development of Agentic AI features in existing/new tools is also within the scope of this position. * Participate in the design, execution, and validation of experiments, simulations, and tests to refine models and algorithms, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security guidelines. * Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop data-driven solutions, and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and best practices, actively participate in team discussions, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate shall: Must-have * Enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Python programming. * Positive 'can-do' attitude and diligent behavior. * Great communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-have * Familiarity with data processing on SQL databases. * Familiarity with tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Dataiku, and Databricks.
