What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Procurement Intern to join our Supply Chain team. This internship is ideal for final-year students passionate about international business, logistics, and procurement. The intern will support the Procurement department in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves collaborating with suppliers across diverse locations, including Monterrey (MTY), Hungary, the US, Brazil, and China, and managing interplant purchase orders (POs).

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the procurement team in sourcing activities, supplier communication, and order management
* Processing purchase requests, managing vendor information, and supporting the procurement process from start to finish.
* Assist in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
* Help maintain accurate records of supplier performance and procurement documentation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, planning, and operations
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
* Contribute to cost-saving and efficiency projects

Requirements:

* Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Relations, Logistics Engineering, or a related field, with at least one year remaining
* Prior knowledge or coursework related to Supply Chain Management is desirable
* Advanced English (spoken and written)
* Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data
* Proactive, eager to learn, and a team player
* Must be able to commute to the Manufacturing plant in Apodaca
* Must have a consistent class schedule (no split shifts or mid-day classes)
