About the job
Danone's Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) zone is embarking on a journey to improve its safety culture. To effectively monitor over 50 factories, 70 distribution centers, and 80 headquarters/sales offices, it is critical to have site-specific information for corrective and preventive actions. A governance process needs to be enhanced to capture safety data and develop a leading indicator's dashboard.
The intern will support the AMEA Health, Safety and Well-being (HSW) team with:
* Analyzing safety observation data and identifying trends. These trends will help leadership to develop insights and create a site-specific safety program.
* Developing the baseline for consistent monitoring of road safety and machine safety programs for the AMEA zone. The process of collecting and processing data is time-consuming, and a baseline needs to be established for the few hundred machines across more than 50 factories in the zone.
* Creating monthly safety reports that are critical for the AMEA and global leadership team to make timely decisions and drive performance improvement.
The following technical skills and experience:
* Currently pursuing a university Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Manufacturing
* Good command of Microsoft Excel, and adept with creating PowerPoint presentations
