The Team
Our award-winning practice includes over 1,000 professionals in over 40 offices across the United States, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. We work for premium clients on a selection of deals sector wide. Our Transactions Advisory team have established Alvarez & Marsal as one of the leading providers of financial due diligence globally and the leading firm to develop a fulfilling career in Transaction Advisory.
A&M's deep operational and industry expertise provides TAG with a unique opportunity to perform more insightful due diligence by providing an integrated and differentiated approach enabling us to deliver more value to our clients. We are free from audit conflicts and our platform is less restrictive, enabling us to operate cross-border seamlessly
A&M TAG have a unique delivery model that enables junior members of the team to gain extensive exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors thus empowering individuals to fast track their careers and development. We are expanding, and we are looking for experienced and ambitious Interns to join our Transactions Advisory team in Madrid for six months, full time.

The successful Intern will:
* Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright, energetic people with a truly entrepreneurial spirit
* Gain experience in M&A research and engagement support for our Transaction Advisory Group
* Gain exposure to international projects on behalf of many of the most prominent organisations across worldwide
* We operate as a Global team and the individual will also gain insight to projects in the UK and internationally.

How you will contribute:
* Performing research on potential targets and helping prepare "points of view" documents on such targets
* Assisting on managing intelligence on forthcoming deals, and working on targeting of private equity firms, private equity held businesses, and large corporates active in M&A
* There would also be some scope to assist on financial due diligence assignments.

Qualificatons:
* Fluent business level in English and Spanish is essential
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong interest in a career within Transactions Advisory.
* Full time availability
