The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for an OpEx, IE & Change Parts Intern to join our Operational Excellence team on a 13-month placement at Whitman Laboratories. As one of our key manufacturing sites, Whitman produces around one-fifth of Estée Lauder's global sales output, offering an exciting environment to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to operational excellence (OpEx), industrial engineering (IE), and new product change part development within a dynamic manufacturing setting. You'll be part of a highly skilled and supportive team, gaining valuable experience in both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvement projects.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting production equipment validation (PQ) and assisting with the successful launch of new products.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly floor.
* Engaging in 3D design, testing, and printing to support change part development.
* Producing technical documentation and collaborating closely with engineers and technical operators.
* Coordinating with external vendors to help ensure that key project milestones and timelines are achieved.

Qualifications

* Currently studying towards an Undergraduate Engineering degree or related subject and be on track to achieving a 2:1 standard or higher. (A Chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering degree is preferred).
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet deadlines
