Job Description:

Program Overview:
(COMPANY NAME) Upskill Tech Pathway is a virtual learning series designed to prepare first and second-year computer science students for the technical interview process at (COMPANY NAME). This three-part series will cover topics such as coding best practices, foundational interview prep, and technical problem-solving strategies.
* Location: Virtual (Fully remote)
* Application Timeline: April 30 - May 12, 2024
* Space is limited.

Qualifications:

Eligibility
This skills development program targets undergraduate Freshman and Sophomores currently matriculating in a computer science, computer engineering, or any related technology program.
Basic Qualifications:
* Must be classified as a first or second-year student (Freshman or Sophomore)
* Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related technology field
* Expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Completed introductory computer science courses such as Data Structures & Algorithms, Programming, calculus, or equivalent courses
* Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in software engineering, IT, cybersecurity, or any related technology field

Additional Information:

* This is an unpaid learning series.
* Participants who complete all workshops will get early access to (COMPANY NAME)'s 2025 Summer Internship applications and will receive priority review starting August 2024.

Application process:
* Submit your application no later than May 12, 2024, to reserve your seat.
* Selected participants will be sent a pre-assessment questionnaire to gauge your technical skills level.
* Selected participants will be invited to a virtual exploratory call with a (COMPANY NAME) rep.
* Final program invites will be sent by May 29, 2024.
Workshop Series Timeline: All sessions will be virtual and held on Microsoft Teams.
