Role Descriptions & Responsibilities
As an intern within the Simulation Visualization team, you will work closely with the R&D team to develop and improve our use of Machine Learning for Results Interpretation. The Simulation Visualization R&D team is responsible for the development of applications to provide visualization of simulation data from Structural, Fluids, and Electro-magnetic simulations utilizing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We develop simulation visualization applications which run both on-premise and on the cloud. Our visualization architecture runs in a multi-core environment. We are a diverse team working in Rhode Island, France, Germany, and India. This internship opportunity is based out of our Johnston, RI Office. This is a 4-6 month paid internship position with flexible start date.
Potential topics depending the current progress on our projects. Examples include: - Extracting simulation results to train ML models for results interpretation- Leverage machine learning tools to help user interpret results- Apply AI driven methods within our algorithms to be more adaptive/robust/usable
Qualifications
� Currently enrolled in college or master�s degree program with focus on Computer Science
� Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering or Physics is desirable
� Knowledge of programming in a structured language (C++, Python, and JavaScript preferable)
� Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
� Should be a quick learning, enjoys learning new software tools and technologies
� Work onsite at the Dassault Syst�s Johnston office

This internship opportunity is based out of our Johnston, RI Office. This is a 6 month paid starting Summer 2026.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $22 and $40 per hour.
