SUMMARY
As a Supply Chain Data Analytics Intern at Oshkosh Vocational, you will play a hands-on role in shaping the future of our Intelligent Supply Chain. In this technical and collaborative role, you will support pivotal digital transformation initiatives including developing advanced analytics reports, delivering interactive intelligence dashboards, and explore automating workflows using Generative AI tools.
This opportunity offers a unique blend of technical learning and deep exploration into Global Procurement & Supply Chain operations. Partnering closely with cross-functional supply chain stakeholders and Digital Technology (DT) analysts, you will translate complex, multi-system data into actionable business intelligence. If you are inquisitive, analytical, and eager to tackle complex projects that challenge you both technically and creatively, this role is built for you.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:
* Explore and understand Strategic and Tactical Supply Chain processes workflows.
* Identify manual reporting bottlenecks and assist in automating repetitive data-gathering tasks.
* Partner with Strategic and Tactical Supply Chain teams to understand their data pain points and deliver custom analytics solutions.
* Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and merge transactional data from various enterprise systems.
* Practice effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences and translate data insights into practical business actions.
* Translate complex datasets into clean, interactive dashboards with direction and assistance from Sr. Analysts.
* Monitor, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards that track critical KPI metrics.
* Explore and test cutting-edge generative AI and LLM productivity tools (such as Google Gemini) to determine how they can be leveraged to streamline procurement workflows.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics or related areas for entire duration of internship.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong analytical and investigative skills
* Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
* Supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience utilizing ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Infor Syteline.
* Familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, or ERP reporting tables.
* Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Pay Range:$18.00 - $37.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
