YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be an active member of BQA LT, proposing initiatives and supporting site strategy implementation by providing advice to senior leadership.
* Develop integrated communication plans, aligned with BQALT, regional and corporate comms, that strategically manage associated risks, cultural transformation processes and respond to site needs.
* Responsible for monitoring external/internal environment and foster positive reputational impact positioning Bayer as active player in the region.
* Coordinate hiring process, alignment and performance evaluation of external communication agency.
* Responsible for monitoring and striving to receive external demands from different stakeholders and provide adequate responses and provide communication materials.
* Support local communication crisis involving the press, communities, internal audiences, and government entities. If needed, in the event of a situation, this role requires working in partnership and aligned with the site manager and corporate teams, such as Corporate Communications, PAAS, and others.
* Support the region team of Product Supply Communication and Community Engagement in deployment of content, campaigns, and all topics of LATAM Strategy (on demand).
* Develop communication plans for internal and local integrated communication campaigns.
* Advising and monitoring executives and leaders of sites on communication topics.
* Support the area in preparing, controlling and making suggestions related to the annual Budget.
* Participating/Engaging in initiatives of stakeholders' campaigns to the strategy of the sites, such as HR (DE&I actions, pulse surveys), health, safety, environment, and operational excellence actions, as well as supporting communication actions on these topics.
* Support the leadership team in Executive Visits to the site with slides, agenda, photos, videos, etc. (if required).
* Community Engagement.
* Lead social and responsible care program implementation by defining strategy that allows to coordinate stakeholders, third parties and Bayer representatives maximizing results with the allocated resources.
* Assure the deployment of PS LATAM Social Strategy within the sites to guarantee License to Operate.
* Develop and manage strategies for Social Responsibility programs connected to the company's business and aligned with the objectives of sustainable development, seeking to contribute to the community and other interested stakeholders.
* Promote and coordinate initiatives with key stakeholders to maintain open communication, generating a positive relationship and reputation to Bayer, seeking to increase engagement with the local community.
* Participate (when required) in working groups representing Bayer on the social responsibility councils of professional associations.
* Execute projects and sponsorships, ensuring their execution and cost control, and alignment with the corporate social investment policy.
* Establish control over requests generated by different audiences (government entities, NGOs, Community Centers, Collaborators and others).
* Coordinate/support the volunteer group in the various activities promoted annually.
WHO YOU ARE
* University degree in Social Communication, Public Relations, Political Science or related areas (mandatory).
* Professional experience of at least 5 years in Communication, Social Responsibility, Public relations or related areas (mandatory).
* Advanced English proficiency (Desirable).
* Leadership by influence stakeholders.
* Excellent skills and mastery of journalistic techniques for writing, creativity, and relationships.
* Advanced knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
