Business Intel Engineer I, Amazon Fresh

Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Engineer I will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end automation solutions using programming languages. This role will focus on streamlining and optimizing business intelligence and data reporting processes through the creation of reusable, scalable automation pipelines. The BI Engineer I will collaborate closely with BIE's, PMs, managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient, reliable automation workflows

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience with SQL
- Understanding of key concepts such as data extraction, ETL processes, data warehousing, and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptability and comfort with ambiguous situations
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub
