Accounting Analyst - Temporary position

Job Description:

The analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate balance of the deposits submitted by RSPs (route sales professional) in accordance with the guidelines and procedures pre-established. In addition, the analyst will be responsible to support the work of the Due Bill Senior Analysts by assisting in analysis of account discrepancies to identify actual outstanding Due Bill balances.

Essential functions
* Processing deposits electronically into deposit system(s) by following pre-establishedprocedures
* Identifying and accurately resolving discrepancies in deposits
* Balancing and posting daily deposit files
* Communicating with the bank for deposit case corrections of deposit items
* Reviewing data and information to identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of the information and breaking down that information or data into separate parts.
* Recording route deposit activity based on research and analysis, sales information, and deposit information.

Required education and experience
High school education completed technical training or college education is a plus
1-2 years' experience in analysis positions, and/or accounting related field.
English Intermediate-Advanced (Independent user)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Intermediate Excel Skills
Familiarity with AS400 platform is an asset
