The Opportunity
As Analytical Laboratory Technician II is responsible, under general direction, for the execution of routine testing, reviewing documentation, performing instrument troubleshooting, and maintaining indicators.
What You'll Do
* Execute routine tests to monitor chemicals, solutions, and raw materials for the manufacturing operation.
* Review test results and other documentation with a keen eye for detail and identify any errors or inconsistencies in the analysis documentation.
* Execute routine laboratory support activities like: Washing glassware, receiving samples, cleaning work areas and equipment, ordering materials, and managing paper documentation.
* Provide support to the laboratory team in equipment troubleshooting.
* Execute equipment preventive maintenance to avoid failures and testing impact.
* With supervision, evaluate and improve Laboratory documents.
* Maintain and analyze detailed indicators for the performance, downtime, and failure modes of Laboratory equipment.
* Provide support to the manufacturing site in low-impact investigations that require expertise and in-depth knowledge from the Analytical area.
* Support simple equipment qualifications and simple test method validation and implementation guided by Scientist or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Laboratory Analyst or related field in Chemistry.
1-2 years of working experience on similar roles
Computer software knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety in the work place.
Intermediate Commands of English / Required
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with quality control concepts, good laboratory practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
