Job Description:

Job Summary:
WHO ARE WE?
SD Concerts is a leading live entertainment company producing concerts, festivals, and major events in the Dominican Republic, with a presence across the Caribbean and Latin America.

Behind every event is a fast-moving team coordinating people, production, venues, partners, and technology. Our systems must support both the daily business and the moments when thousands of people are counting on everything to work.

WHO ARE YOU?
You are a hands-on technology professional who takes ownership and follows through.

You can solve an employee access issue, coordinate with a U.S.-based IT team, work with local service providers, and support connectivity at a live event. You communicate clearly in Spanish and at an intermediate level in English, stay composed under pressure, and know when to solve an issue directly and when to escalate it.

You understand that in live entertainment, reliable technology is not a background function. It is part of the show.

THE JOB
The IT Operations Lead will serve as the primary local technology resource for approximately 40 employees, supporting daily technology operations, infrastructure, employee access, cybersecurity readiness, and live-event connectivity.

This is currently a hands-on individual contributor role with the potential to support or lead an additional team member as the function grows. The position will partner closely with the U.S. IT team, internal employees, production teams, venues, and external technology providers.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Technology Support and Employee Experience
* Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, business applications, connectivity, and employee access.
* Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and related equipment.
* Support employee onboarding by preparing equipment and coordinating system access with the U.S. IT team.
* Resolve and document technical incidents, provide user guidance, and follow through until issues are closed.
* Manage technology inventory and maintain accurate equipment and asset records.
Infrastructure and Systems
* Support office internet, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, VPN, phone services, servers, and basic network equipment.
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with the U.S. IT team, local vendors, or service providers.
* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and new platform integrations.
* Support business tools and platforms including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Workday, WhatsApp, Rome, BPC, and OneStream.
Live Event Technology
* Provide technology support during concerts, festivals, and other live events.
* Coordinate internet and phone connectivity for artists, production teams, internal employees, and event partners.
* Work with venues, production teams, and service providers during setup and execution.
* Troubleshoot time-sensitive technology issues in high-pressure event environments.
* Maintain flexibility to support event schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Cybersecurity and Access
* Apply established information security policies, controls, and corporate standards.
* Support cybersecurity initiatives led by the U.S. IT team as they are introduced.
* Assist with user access, permissions, authentication, antivirus protection, endpoint security, and basic security monitoring.
* Escalate potential incidents and promote responsible technology and data-protection practices.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
* Technical degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* At least two years of experience in IT support, technology operations, help desk, infrastructure, or a similar role.
* Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
* Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, routers, switches, and access points.
* Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, authentication, antivirus tools, and access controls.
* Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
* Strong troubleshooting, organization, documentation, and follow-through.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
* Availability to provide on-site technology support during concerts and festivals.

YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU
* Take ownership from issue through resolution.
* Make technology easier for employees to use.
* Communicate clearly across teams, vendors, and locations.
* Stay calm when timelines are tight and the show cannot wait.
* Balance speed, service, security, and sound judgment.
* Build practical processes that can scale as the function grows.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT
Please submit your resume in English. This role works regularly with U.S.-based technology teams, and English-language communication is an important part of the position.
