To continue the strong development for our diabetes team in Finland we are looking for a skilled and independent Sales specialist with a clear sales focus and strong communication and relation building skills. You will be selling products representing technology from front line research and development of diabetes treatment. Some of them already market leaders, others with potential and ambition of becoming standard of care. You will be responsible for development of our Diabetes business in your own territory in line with our long-term strategies, while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic's reputation in the market. You will report to the Sales Manager and will cover Southern Finland.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Work closely with our Territory Managers to maximize the potential of each district
* Provide, in clinic, education, product training and technical support on our entire product portfolio to our customers people with diabetes and care takers, physicians, diabetes nurses and interest group
* Support marketing and sales activities in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures
* Attend and participate in congresses and events as required
* Book and plan your own customer visit and activities
* Report all account, market, and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, and timely fashion, in collaboration with the Territory Manager.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, nursing, or other health related disciplines or equivalent
* Experience from the medical device or pharmaceutical industry or a hospital environment
* Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English
* Live within the respective territory
* Clean driver's license and have the ability to travel for work
* Able to work independently and with a minimum of supervision while at the same time playing an active role in the team.

Relevant experience with our products would be a clear advantage and be comfortable with presenting tools like PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce.com.
