Manager (m/w/d) Group Accounting / IFRS Analyst

Your new pair of shoes:

* You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as related disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
* You actively participate in the group audit and support both management in decision-making processes and external auditors during the audit.
* With your expertise, you ensure both the quality of financial reporting and compliance with the Group Accounting Policy in line with IFRS standards.
* You actively contribute to the preparation and continuous update of the Group IFRS Accounting Policy and conduct group-wide training sessions.
* You monitor, coordinate, and execute consolidation activities, such as capital and debt consolidation, consolidation of income and expenses, and elimination of intercompany profits.
* You are involved in IFRS-related accounting matters and take responsibility for communication with our subsidiaries regarding various accounting topics.
* You proactively support the continuous optimization of group accounting tools and processes and further develop the Group Accounting Policy and the Chart of Accounts in accordance with IFRS.
* You support SOX controls, including documentation, testing, and audit requests.
* You support finance and accounting projects (documentation, timelines, coordination).
* You contribute to ad hoc initiatives in the area of Group Accounting / Technical Accounting.

Your walk of life:

* Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance / Accounting, or a commercial qualification with further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).
* 2-5 years of professional experience in auditing or group accounting in a comparable position, ideally in an international environment.
* Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting.
* Sound knowledge and experience in consolidation.
* Experience in using consolidation tools, in particular LucaNet.
* SAP knowledge, especially S/4HANA, is desirable.
* Experience with SOX controls in a listed (U.S.) environment.
* Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
* Strong attention to detail while meeting defined deadlines.
* A mindset for automation and simplification of processes.
* A hands-on mentality, strong communication skills combined with a confident and professional demeanor, and a team-oriented way of working in an international environment complete your profile.
