The project: Mace and Jacobs have partnered to form a consortium that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related PMC and programme management services for the Ellinikon development. In its role as the client's real estate delivery partners on this programme, Mace/Jacobs JV are providing consultancy from programme/PMC as well as cost and commercial management, to design and construction management.
The Health and Safety Manager monitors and ensures Contractor's conformance with legal and contractual H&S requirements and provides guidance on H&S matters.
You'll be responsible for:
* Inspecting and monitors site operations to ensure compliance with H&S requirements set by law and contract.
* Reviewing and approving contractor's H&S plans, policies, procedures, reports and Work Method Statements.
* Reviewing and approving contractor's incident analysis.
* Recording and raising H&S non-conformances observed in the site operations.
* Providing monthly H&S performance reports.
* Keep fully informed on all applicable H&S regulations and legislation.
* Collaborating closely with contractor and advises them accordingly to adopt best HS practices in site operations.
* Managing in developing and adaptation of a strong safety culture in the project.
