About the job

The Demand Planner is key to achieving not only the Customer Service Level targets for the Business but plays a key role in the company's overall business results. The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
The execution of the Demand Planning process focuses on collaborative "bottom-up" forecast with involved functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance) and Customers.Continuously improve customer service level (CSL) and simultaneously reduce finished goods inventory, minimize write off to achieve targets, by improving forecast accuracy while supporting categories growth.
Drive implementation of GPS process within the company for specific assigned category.Effective interaction with Supply Points, Providers, Distridutors'/wholesalers, Co-Packers are essential.
In this role, you'll work closely and cross functionally with all the teams to deliver key business KPI's as well as drive projects for harmonized ways of working and continuous improvement

Responsibilities and duties

* Design and generate the statistical forecast (weekly / monthly) based on historical sales, activation, market trends, seasonality, and inventory target levels.
* Manage the distributor’s orders: plant based and dairy products (MTO and MTS model), help the distributors to optimize the orders, order management with the plants, communication with the plants, carriers booking and management to ensure on time loading from the plant and on time delivery to the local distribution center and/or to distributors.
* Continuously improving forecasting techniques, methodology and tools. Establish and utilize best methods statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets
* Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
* Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels).
* Make recommended SKU rationalization initiatives

Academic qualifications & experience

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position (demand & Supply planning)
* University degree in Supply chain management/business/ finance
* Fluent in Greek & English & computer literate
* Excellent MS Office (Especially excellent EXCEL, extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
* Experience in demand planning, master scheduling, forecasting tools, methodologies, processes in sales, marketing, operations, finance, supply chain or procurement.
