Your role

We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to act as a strategic partner to our business units, driving performance and profitability through insightful financial analysis and active collaboration. The role will primarily center on financial planning, budgetary control, cost management, and performance analysis, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate will combine financial expertise and a commercial mindset, fostering collaboration with operational teams to align with financial objectives and long-term strategy.

Main responsibilities

* Business Partnering & Strategic Challenge: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing financial insights to support decision-making, collaborating with commercial teams to align business strategies with financial goals and market dynamics.

* Financial Controlling & Analysis: Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess business and identify areas for improvement, while overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial performance, including revenue, margins, and costs.

* Budgeting, Forecasting, and Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for assigned business units.

* Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, identifying variances and providing actionable insights.

* Margin Control: Monitor and analyze margins to ensure profitability targets are met, providing recommendations to optimize performance.

Main requirements:

* Educational Background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.

* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in Financial Controlling, Commercial Finance or a similar role.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively.

* Solid experience with Office tools.

* Good public speaking skills.

* International experiences are preferred.

* A commercial mindset with a strong focus on results and value creation.

* Fluent in English, additional language is a plus.
