Job Description:
GENERAL ROLE
As a Retail Operations Specialist, the role will play a key role in supporting strategic operational projects across the subsidiary.
The Retail Operations Specialist mission is to assist in executing operational projects that enhance processes and performance, ensuring efficiency and excellence in retail operations.
Based at the Hermès Italy Head Office in Milan, you will work closely with the Retail Operations Team and report directly to the Retail Operations Director.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
* Project management
* Support key operational projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery;
* Support the planning and coordination of commercial events with a 360° approach, acting proactively and stepping in when needed to guarantee flawless execution;
* Ensure smooth organization of operations activities in coordination with external suppliers;
* Collaborate with different teams to align project goals and deliverables ensuring smooth communication flows.
* Management and coordination
* Contribute to the engagement and development of the Stock Operations community, fostering best practices and continuous improvement;
* Act as a point of reference for operational guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across stores;
* Facilitate the communication flows of Group guidelines towards the shopfloor.
* Operations excellence
* Monitor and analyze operational performance using established methods (e.g., 5S, negative stock checks, stockroom organization);
* Track and evaluate service performance indicators (presales, reservations, customer orders, aftersales) to identify areas for improvement;
* Prepare accurate and insightful monthly reports to support decision-making and performance optimization.
* Stock management and product end-of-life
* Support and coordinate destocking and recycling activities to ensure compliance and efficiency;
* Co-lead the organization of exceptional sales operations, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with company standards;
* Actively coordinate operations activities of external suppliers;
* Align communication flows between the Group and the shopfloor.
PROFILE
* Bachelor's degree preferably with an analytical focus;
* Fluency in Italian and English. A third language will be considered an advantage;
* At least 2 years of experience in similar rôle;
* Proficient with Excel / IT tools;
* Organization, an analytical mindset and a problem solving approach enhance the profile;
* Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, ease of integration and teamwork complete the profile.
