Graphic designer
Iztapalapa, Mexico On-site
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer responsible for reviewing, adapting, and standardizing electronic files submitted by clients to generate samples and processable files in accordance with requirements, policies, security standards, information management, and quality standards of the guidelines and standards, to ensure optimal reproduction in industrial processes. You will collaborate with engineering, production, new product introduction (NPI), and customer service teams to accurately define the technical specifications of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and verify that the final file contains the correct color definition or make corrections if necessary.
* Assess the feasibility of combining and positioning graphic and non-printed elements.
* Perform spelling and grammar review of texts.
* Verify that the final files in PDM and/or samples include all necessary elements according to client requirements.
* Generate dummies or final samples for clients.
* Meet committed delivery deadlines.
* Perform all activities following applicable ISO 9001:2004 standards, regulations and internal security policies to ensure product quality and reliability.
* Adapt clients' creative designs to production processes by adjusting them to templates and software.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
* Proficiency in design software packages: Adobe Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Prinergy, RasterLink, EFI.
* Visual acuity.
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work. And full Onsite Scheme.
* Availability to work in a secured area with strict controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in file preparation for pre-press.
* Have experience in printing processes such as digital and offset.
* Experience with Mac and PC platforms.
* Intermediate to advanced English.
