Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Our Jr Designer role has a specific skillset centered around printing files, graphic adaptations and optimizing files for final delivery with Printer partners. A successful candidate must have a proficient level of understanding and functional capability in software designed for creation of graphics, ability to edit and manipulate creative, and will be responsible for the quality and optimization of graphic material provided by the creative team. Additionally, the Jr Print Production specialist must be proficient in understanding die lines, printing systems and pre-flight process.
Your Impact
As a Jr Designer your functions would consist of:
Work in technical adaptations, resizing and preflight of POS and packaging artworks for our brands in North America. Preflight: Verify and prepare digital files. Ensure print reproduction meets design and print quality standards. Knowledge of packaging and Point of Sale materials and how they impact the design execution. Skilled in color management and color correction. Ability to ensure that all the specs provided by the printer and the brands are correctly applied. Optimize RGB brand materials and key visuals. Be a brand guardian, following brand guidelines closely for color, inks and pre-flight requirements. Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized while responding to last minute requests and adapt to changes on business trends.

Education
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field (packaging design, graphic design, visual arts, communication etc.).
Experience
1+ years of agency creative experience in print production area, graphic adaptations, preflight processes. Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY). Demonstrable fluency with Adobe CC suite of products, Photoshop and Illustrator. Previous experience in adapting multiple assets to different sizes and shapes. Strong knowledge of different types of materials and printing systems. Ability to interpret feedback, problem-solve creatively and contribute to evolving print concepts. An online portfolio showing a variety of standout work is a MUST. Experience with creative teams in agency or in-house agency environments; CPG Experience a plus. Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction. Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint and Project Management Tools.
