2 Key Activities/ Deliverables: (specify required outputs from the role)
* Deploy BU EHS strategy, policies, plans, and procedures; translate into site-level execution plans
* Build and sustain a strong EHS culture; engage leaders and teams to reinforce safe behaviors and accountability
* Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws/regulations and company standards; track emerging trends and assess impact
* Lead/oversee tactical EHS initiatives supporting BU priorities (risk reduction, program effectiveness, continuous improvement)
* Guide senior leaders on critical EHS topics, priorities, and resource trade-offs; influence outcomes without authority
* Coordinate and lead cross-functional, multi-site teams to deliver EHS outcomes and standardize best practices across the BU/POD
* Manage and develop EHS resources (direct or dotted-line); provide coaching and governance to ensure consistent execution
* Represent the company with regulators as needed (state and, at times, federal/national), including higher-sensitivity interactions when applicable
* Establish success criteria, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions and sustained improvements
